Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games
After over two weeks of competition, finally the XXIX Olympic Summer Games are over. Time to have a look at where it all happened. The most prominent location was the "Birds Nest", the Beijing National Stadium, designed by Herzog & de Meuron. Adjecent to the Stadium the National Aquatics Center can be seen. The translucent blue cube illumniated at night with a multimedia fascade.
